In mid-March I had the opportunity to shoot a promo campaign for Anaheim Ballet's #NOFILTER performance at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts. This shoot was fun and different from a lot of other dance shoots where the focus is on perfection and storytelling. This was all about the raw feeling and look of the dancers. The reason I'm posting about this now is because the print copy and web marketing is live and out in the world. I'm always happy to have my work be seen by many. To capture the vision of the art directors Evan Rosenberg and Sarma Rosenberg is a big responsibility and honor.

The editing of these images was simple and quick, because the final look of the images was to show a raw look of the dancers. I just cleaned up some imperfections in the skin and background. Also adjusted temperature and color. Simple and clean.
Here is a video. Enjoy!
I also had the opportunity to take a portrait of the individual dancers that were part of this campaign. Always my favorite thing - shoot simple portraits and a dance pose to showcase their skills for auditions for theater, tv shows, movies, or even their Instagram.
Here are some of my favorite portraits.
